Sadie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sadie's Story...
Sadie is a young female born to a Norwegian Elkhound mom, dad is an unknown. Sadie and her two brothers, Sox and Sweets, are being fostered in SC,areup to date on shots, altered, and looking for homes. Sadie loves to be with people and other dogs, and she can be bossy in order to get attention. She likes to jump on you if her brothers or other dogs are around, but will sit when she is alone. She is crate trained and house broken. Sadie eats her meals in her crate, otherwise Sweets would be the only one who got anything to eat. We estimate that she was born in July 2012 so she is still a youngster. She weighs about 40 lbs. If you would like to give a home to a very sweet little girl, please go to www.elkhoundrescue.org/adopt.htm and
fill out the application to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Youngstown Norwegian Elkhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Elkhound/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Youngstown, or seeking a Norwegian Elkhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Youngstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Elkhound/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Norwegian Elkhound/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
