Pandora's Story...
Two days in a row this momma dog was found wondering the streets. She was reunited with her puppies the first time, but someone called animal control the second time. She was taken to the shelter. Her owner was notified that she was there. He chose not to go get her – her puppies no longer needed her because they had began eating on their own… so she was thrown away like trash. She was placed on the euthanization list. After all she had been through, we could not let her die such a cruel and lonely death!

She is now in a foster home that absolutely adores her. She deserves a loving home of her own!

Pandora loves to play ball and chase the other dog in her foster home. She is being taught basic commands and is responding well. Pandora also loves her daily walks.

Pandora is such a sweet girl who deserves a home of her own (one that will give her the love that she didn't know before moving into her current foster home).

Loves to play with other dogs
Is up to date on vaccinations
Spayed
Micro-chipped
3-4 years old

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pandora, a Las Cruces Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Las Cruces, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Las Cruces.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Cruces already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Cruces breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Cruces paves the way for another one to be saved.
