'Lucky Dog' was reported as a stray in October of 2013, volunteers were shocked by what they saw when they went to collect him. His entire neck was red and swollen,he had an entire collar under his skin. The collar was far too small for him and restricting his breathing to the point where the local shelter decided to euthanize him; but Mercy fund stepped in at the last moment and gave him emergency surgery through our vet, where he was saved. He is now ready to make someone a beautiful pet. He has learned to love by being put in a home life and loving environment through fostering, and he is looking for his own home where he can be loved 'fur'ever. Lucky Dog is such a trooper, wagging his tail and giving kisses, even on the euthanization table. It's this wonderful, happy, personality that allowed him to be saved. Please see the video on the post for his full story. Lucky Dog was also featured in the 'Safe in the Arms of Mercy' documentary.
