FRUALINE. This miniature black and tan spayed female dachshund needs a new home as her elderly owner is no longer able to care for her. She is 4.5 years old and has a sweet disposition. Frauline knows some commands and would be happy to learn more. She loves walking on the beach, and rides well in the car. She is so looking forward to a quiet and stable home. Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer no smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
All our dogs are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, all shots, wormer & flea protection, nails trimmed, the works. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $395, no exceptions as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training.
