Meet Paddington! He is a gorgeous dog! He is a fun guy too. He loves attention and will rub up against you to get it. He will nuzzle in for a nice scratch on the head. He loves kids and is a great cuddler. Paddington loves a squeaky toy. He will chase a ball or will toss it up to himself. So cute to watch! What else is cute? He wags his tail so hard that his whole backend moves with it and he makes adorable noises when you pet/scratch him. He likes to sun bathe and is food motivated, which makes teaching him new tricks easier. Does Padding sound like your kind of dog? Fill out an adoption application.

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last
