Henry's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Henry's Story...
Henry is an 10 year old Yorkie-Poo who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in New York City. The details of Henry's prior life are not certain but we're pretty sure they were less than acceptable. Henry came to us severely neglected.

What is known about Henry is that he is a sweet and loyal dog who is looking for the next part of his life to make up for all the wrong that was once done to him. Henry currently lives in a home with two other dogs and two cats and adores them all.

Big dogs do not phase this 16 pounder! In fact he LOVES big dogs. Henry would do best in a house as opposed to an apartment to help with his housebreaking. Henry has a lot of love to give, he just needs the right someone to dispense it on!

Henry is neutered, up to date on all shots and microchipped. Application, contract and adoption fee required. Henry is currently being fostered on the Upper East Side of NYC. To meet Henry, please fill out an application: www.reefuge.org/application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Brooklyn Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
