My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking to spice up your life? Then STOP right here, and let me introduce myself!

My name is Winston, with a capital W!

Everyone I meet think’s I’m such a silly boy, but I don’t know what they’re talking about? I’m simply being me! Let me tell you a little bit more about myself, and you let me know what you think? I grew up in a wonderful and loving home, since I was a bran spankin new puppy. I had two dog siblings that knew, as soon as I showed up, the boss had arrived. Then all of a sudden my family started to multiply. These crazy little things called “babies” showed up. Ever herd of them? They scream, cry, throw things, wake up in the middle of the night, and run around! All the craziness these “babies” created made me a little nervous. So I worked with a trainer to try and learn to live with them, but I just cant get used to all the crazy things they do. You see, I have so much spunk and pizazz I should have the spotlight to myself! There’s more then enough of this solid 50 lb., 3 year old bully to go around, *wink *wink! So that’s when I met the great people of CEBR they said they could find the perfect family for a STAR like me. Think you have what I’m looking for?

For some reason my foster family is always laughing at me? It’s like no matter what I do, I make people smile. I really don’t understand what’s so funny about rolling around in the snow? Every time I go out side I love to stick my head in a snow pile and roll around! You should try it some time, seriously it’s a lot of FUN! You know what else is fun, steeling socks! I like to grab them, run off and hide then under stuff. HA try and find them, I bet you can’t! O yeah and I love showers! Every time you fire up the water I’m ready to get in! I don’t understand why my foster fam get to shower everyday, but I don’t? So I sit outside of the shower whining till they get out, or give up and let me in! Do you play with toys? I seriously, LOVE toys! I love to always have a toy by my side no matter where I am. Outside to potty, (did I mention I’m totally house trained) I have to bring a toy! Nighttime, yep I’ll bring a toy for that too! Going for a car ride, wait for me, I have to grab a toy! Just in case I will hide toys around the house, under couch cushions, under my dog bed, in the bed blankets, pretty much any where I can hide one. You can never have enough toys around! I do something else everyone thinks is so cute. I like to hide in the closet, behind your clothes and I’ll only stick my little head out when you come looking for me. It’s like hide and seek, where’s Winston?

Now that you know all the great things about me, I should also tell you about my stubborn bully ways! I have really deep face wrinkles, and my previous family never cleaned them out. So this face wiping business is new to me, and I’m not sure that I like it. I give my foster mom a hard time with my daily grooming, but she says she’s gonna keep on doing it, so I better get used to it. Did I mention I like TOYS? Because I really like toys, so I am also working on sharing my toys. Sometimes I don’t want you or other dog’s near me when I am playing with them. But I’m working on that too, I guess sharing could be fun. I also love to go on the couch, if that’s cool in your house that’s great for me! At my foster pad I’m not allowed on furniture, so when my foster parents ask me to get down I get a little cranky. I don’t know why they don’t let me on the couch, I’m probably the best snuggler around! Since I grew up with other dogs, I’m used to having them around. And as long as they know that I am the boss, we can get along just great!

My next home is going to be my FOREVER home, so I want to make sure that it will be perfect for me when I am ready! So this is what I am looking for. No Babies, or younger kids, I don’t mind teenagers! I like other dogs, and a submissive buddy would be best, but I can also be the only dog in the house! A family that understands my stubborn bully ways would be great. At my foster home I had to have surgery for a torn ACL, and I am recovering nicely. I can go up and down stairs like a champ, but I do still have a little arthritis in that leg. So the kink in my step maybe staying, but it certainly doesn’t throw me off when I do my happy butt wiggle! Stairs are not an issue for me now but could eventually catch up with my bum knee. I am very playful and can entertain my self, or just snooze the day away so don’t worry about me while your at work. I’d be great in the city or the suburbs as long as your house has a cozy couch and places to hide my toys, I can make anywhere home!

If you could use a lot more laughs and entertainment in your life, then fill out an application for yours truly.
