Tessa is a beautiful girl with blue yes. She is great with dogs and loves to roll around in our house-guests shoes. She also loves to sprawl out on her back when she sleeps and is always up for a game of string! She has lived with another cat her whole life and would assume she would be good with another cat but may take tiny bit to get adjusted.

Here are some quirks that she has that I don't know how to word....she does this light biting thing when she wants you to pet her. Instead of nudging you, she lighting bites you. When guest don't know that, they do kinda freak out because they think that she is biting them. She has always done that since she was a kitten. Never hard but her teeth are sharp so it shocks you when she does it. She also likes to play like a dog and will wrestle with you but that also includes biting if she gets playing too hard. Once again she doesn't do it because she is mad but just because she is playing. She is also kinda cross-eyed, which I think is super adorable.

We usually shave her in the summer time and she loves it! She has a great lion cut :)

She is not up to date on her shots. She is an ONLY indoor cat and has all four paws declawed (I know some people don't agree with that process and I'm sorry if that may offend. Hopefully I'm not judged because of that).

She is a great girl who purrs loudly and loves to be by you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tessa, a Santa Monica Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
