My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucy Lowrider; she's a sweet, confident, five year old chocolate tri-color Rattie - with a solid little type B (Teddy) build. She currently weighs 15 pounds, but could stand to lose a pound or two. Lucy loves to play with other dogs (large and small) and likes to be in charge, but with no sign of aggressiveness. After all that playing, just pat the couch next to you and she'll spring into your lap, and be a warm bundle of snoring joy within minutes. Lucy loves to snuggle with both adults and children. She is very interested in cats, and she will chase after them, so if you have nervous or skittish cats you will have to be firm with Lucy. On a few occasions, she has been possessive with her toys (with no aggression), so she would do best with children over the age of 10 years. Lucy is house trained when kept on a consistent schedule, and is 100% crate trained. She also knows basic commands (sit, off, etc), and how to walk on a leash (though when excited she does tend to bounce up & down a lot). At night Lucy sleeps her crate, and is completely quiet and well behaved until the morning.
