My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Francesca. This affectionate middle aged kitty was abandoned by her owner. She showed up a the home of an elderly woman one day, thin and unhealthy with barely any hair. Over the course of a few months, Francesca warmed up to the people who cared for her and her health began to improve. When the elderly lady passed away, her daughter knew that Francesca was a cat who deserved a home. She was stunned when she took her in to be spayed to find out that not only had she already been spayed, but she has a microchip! However, the phone number listed on the microchip was no longer in service.
Francesca is 8 years old and is very sweet. She loves to sit on your lap but she does give gentle "love bites" so she would do best in a home without small children. She also would prefer to be an only cat. She would make an ideal companion for someone who is looking for a new friend.
