Bailey's Story...
Bailey came to us back in January, pregnant & feeling very bad. As soon as we got her, she went into labor & gave birth to 3 stillborn puppies, however, she quickly adopted 3 puppies from another mommy who had too many. And Bailey adored her adopted babies & was a fabulous mom to them. Bailey is a sweet girl, a Lab-Beagle mix with a heart of gold. She loves people & gets along good with other dogs. Bailey is about 2 years old & weighs 25 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a La Habra Heights Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in La Habra Heights, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in La Habra Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Habra Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Habra Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Habra Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
