My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maybelle was found in the East End by a volunteer on her way home from school. She was sitting on the corner at a closed business on Navigation, soaking wet. Her fur was frozen! She appears to be blind in her right eye. The volunteer lured her in with goldfish crackers - the only thing she had in the car with her. Thank goodness she was hungry!

She appeared to be nursing, but no puppies were found in the area that night or the next day. Most likely someone got puppies out of her and dumped her. Maybelle appears to be full German Shepherd, but we can not know for certain.

Maybelle is very sweet, between 4-5 years old, appears to be potty trained, but does not like her kennel. She has shown no aggression the other dogs in her foster home.
