Steve's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Steve's Story...
If you looked in the dictionary under labrador retriever you would see my picture. I am loyal, love to be near you, and love to eat! I am a big love and like to be petted. I am the most happiest when I am with you. My foster mom cannot understand how I ended up in a shelter. I love my human foster brothers who are seven and thirteen. I get along with my foster brother and sister dogs too. I am feeling much better after heart worm treatment. I am about 7 years old and my foster mom calls me her big love. I would like a family that will take good care of me. I don't mind being left alone, but I do like having doggie company. I am housebroken and know a few tricks. I would make the perfect family dog. I am not extremely athletic, so if you want a running partner, I am not your man. If you want a great companion I am it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steve, a Oak Brook Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Oak Brook, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Oak Brook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Brook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Brook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Brook paves the way for another one to be saved.
