Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scrappy is a little guy with a big personality. Born mid January 2014, we believe Scrappy is a Chihuahua mix.
Scrappy gets along with other animals, but has no idea he’s small. and runs and plays with the biggest pups. He absolutely loves loves loves being snuggled up with someone though, and does not hesitate at all to let you know!
Scrappy will do absolutely wonderful in a family that can play with him all day. He is currently fostering with children, and adores spending time with them.
Oh - and now that the weather is warm, he LOVES spending time in the pool!
Scrappy weighs around 20 pounds now (June 2014). He sleeps in a crate at night, and is doing well with potty training.
Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet, loving, happy, and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates. It is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into wonderful family pets.
We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***
