Trixie's Story...
Trixie is a beautiful 10lb chihuahua mix. Trixie is such a fun size and would make a terrific companion! She likes other dogs, cats, and new people. She is 100% housetrained and can even go potty on a leash! One fun part about this girl is she knows how to sleep through the night in her crate or snuggle under the covers all night! Her favorite past times include watching her favorite movie "The Chihuahua Games" and show "Litter Mates". We think Trixie would make a wonderful addition to most any household. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Trixie is fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but isn't picky where she ends up :) Please email info@FORrescue.net or apply directly at http://www.FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Homewood Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
