Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Star is a female Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. The breed originated with Native Americans in Louisiana and was used to herd livestock. Star is housebroken, playful and very loving. She does well with other dogs, however she is a dominant female and would not do well with another dominant female. Since Catahoulas are herders, they are very active, need exercise and strong pack leadership form their owners in order to know their place in a household.
Star was in a foster home and had a litter of nine puppies 12/23/13. Most of her puppies have been adopted and she is looking for her forever home. Star is about 2 years old and has a distinctive merle and white coat.
