Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tyler is a 2.5 yr old Pyrenees/Akbash male that came to us from a local kill shelter. Tyler loves going on walks around his foster's five acre fenced pasture, playing in the pond, and coaxing someone into a good game of chase. He is a higher energy dog looking for an active family with at least one dog friend his size or would be fine as a single dog. Tyler is house trained, good manners, uses the doggie door, not cat tested. Tyler is loyal and protective of his family and property so he's looking for a quieter adult home that doesn't have a lot of strangers coming and going routinely.
Tyler is fully vaccinated, neutered, micro chipped, de-wormed, but did test positive for heart worms, ultrasound showed he is lightly infected so the vet felt it best he do slow kill treatment. Adopting family will need to keep him on the slow kill treatment of monthly heart worm prevention and doxycycline and follow up with their vet for retesting as vet recommends.
