Shane's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shane's Story...
I am ready for the golden days. I just wanna sip some cool water, cozy up in a warm lap and dream the days away. I am not NASCAR, I am more PGA. The world seems bent on approaching warp speed, and I am just trying to cruise. What’s the hurry? Enjoy the time you have. I would sure love to enjoy some time with a nice family, I know that. Respectful kids 8+ would be wonderful to have around; old enough to not pull my tail, but youthful enough to still want to feed me under the table. I don’t mind living with cats, they don’t seem to bother me none. I am crate trained and love having my own fortress of solitude should I need it. I get along with other dogs really well cos I do my thing and they do theirs. If you need someone to cruise with you on this journey of life, I am your dude. 5 years old-23lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes: neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shane, a Portland Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Portland, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
