Chips's Story...
They named me Chips because I'm the perfect side(kick) to my brother, Fish! I love to play with crinkly balls or chase feathers, and my foster family says I'm a very smart boy - always the first to explore something new, and I've even learned a couple of tricks from the little humans at my foster home. Because I'm so stunningly handsome, they agreed to help us make a short video, which you can view by clicking the link on my page. Is that Hollywood I hear calling? So if you'd like to have a MOVIE STAR in your home, please contact the rescue at info@FORrescue.net for an application to bring me home TODAY!

Chips is currently being fostered in Huntsville, AL. To learn more about Chips and to receive an adoption application, please email us at info@FORrescue.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chips, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
