Laila's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Laila's Story...
Laila is the cutest little velcro Boxer girl-full of wiggles! She follows her foster mom everywhere. We estimate that Laila is about four years old. She arrived in the BARC program from a North Florida shelter partner and is currently being treated for skin problems and dental issues. Laila appears to be housetrained and crate trained. She is working on leash manners and learning not to jump on people. Like all Boxers, she craves human attention. She would love a home where she is the only dog or just has one brother to boss around. Laila should not be placed in a home with cats. She is being fostered by Michelle in Tallahassee. Please check back for updates on very loving little Laila!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laila, a Tallahassee Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
