My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You will love Leo! He's approximately a 4 year old black lab/boxer mix that arrived from another rescue in hopes of getting a home sooner at Friendship. Not much is known about his likes and dislikes. He had to have a home at some point, he knows many commands and listens. Leo is a super fun fellow that has a happy demeanor. He would love a lively family that will include him in their activities. Leo was a special guest recently for a Brownie Troop that was visiting the shelter. He was very well behaved and enjoyed being with all the first graders. Get you adoption applications in for Mr. Personality...LEO!

On April 10, 2014, Leo was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Leo is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

If you put in an adoption application on a prison dog and find another dog before they return, please inform Friendship.
