My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nice to meet you, I'm Peaches! I'm a sweet little tortoiseshell tabby (a torbie!) with beautiful green eyes. You can see I have the compact round build of an American Shorthair, just no fancy papers. I recently had a full dental and they pulled my front canines, so I have the cutest little bemused look now.

I came here because I needed a quieter household, no small children to pick on me. I do well with older kids, though, as long as they're not rough and pull my tail. Because I had bad experiences with the dogs at my last house, I'd probably do best in a dog-free house too.

I'm a very sweet girl, always ready to curl up on your lap for some purrtime. I love to play like any young kitten, which helps keep me young. I no longer have my front claws, so I need to stay indoors where I can be safe.
