Lucy's Story...
Lucy is the most charming little hound you'll ever meet! She's around 6 months old and 25 lbs. She is always happy, playful and full of love. And she loves everyone! All her hound features are totally adorable, her spots, her ears, her big feet, and her long happy tail. She is doing great at her foster home, playing well with her foster brothers and sisters, learning new puppy tricks daily, crate trained and working house training. She loves to run around the back yard chasing sticks, toys and her dog friends. She is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. She is currently fostered in Huntsville, AL but is not picky about where she ends up. Please email info@FORrescue.net or apply directly at http://www.FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Marietta Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
