My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Everyone, My name is Brice (Better known as Bricey) by my foster Mom.

My mom says I'm am just the most handsome boy she's ever seen. I am a little taken back by that, because no one has ever payed much attention to me,much less talked to me until now.... I did have a family, but they never really paid much attention to me.

I know your wondering, if I had a family how did I end up with Schnauzer Rescue. Well during one of our many winter storms I wandered away from home and became lost..... I was picked up by animal control with matted icy fur, and very very hungry. About 1 week later my owner finally came to the shelter to find me, but then quickly left without me. I was so sad and confused.....

The very next day, I was brought out of my crate to meet a lady from Schnauzer Rescue...I wasn't very happy to see her,and I sooo regret that now, but I was so scared and didn't know what was going on. Well she took my leash anyway, put me in her truck, and off we went.

My first stop in rescue was to the doggie Doctor. I had a complete physical, was caught up on all my shots, and then was neutered....yes neutered... I thought this was awful! but I hear it's the "IN" thing and everyone's doing it....So I had it done.

After my procedure, the doggie Doctor spoke with my foster Mom and told her I had a grade 6 heart murmur that I would need to be on medication for. I am now on my medicine and am doing great in my foster home. I have a nice warm bed to sleep in and 4 other Schnauzer brothers to play with. I love playing with them and all my new toys. I also love the evenings when I get to hang out with my foster mom on the couch.

I'm so happy to have found my foster family, but I have one thing left to do and that is to complete my journey and find my furever family. One that will treat me like part of the family and take very very good care of me, cause my foster mom says that's what I deserve. If you think you're the family for me, please fill out an application for Bricey :)
