Handsome Sammy is a quiet and shy little guy who was rescued from a high kill shelter. This little guy comes out of his shell when he is with other dogs. He is learning to be part of a pack and he should definitely be in a home with at least one other dog. He is very skittish and jumpy around people and will only come an arms length away. Sammy seems to be a little afraid of the dark as he will growl and bark n all lights aren't on at night. Not at all vicious though-once you do get close to him-he loves his head and face scratched, is ok with being held and will stay until you?re done petting him. Sammy has lots of energy and loves to run in the yard. This darling guy is 5 years old and weighs 14lbs. A total armful of love!
