Elliot's Story...
Elliot is a gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, we are not sure what he is mixed with, some have suggested German Shepherd. He is just 1 ½ years old and of medium size (50 pounds). Elliot is adorable, very puppyish and energetic but full of love and affection. He greets everyone he meets with trust and a willingness to be your best friend. Elliot is good with both children and other dogs. Elliot is an absolute love and will make a great family pet. He does need some basic training but he is young, smart and eager to learn. Please call 516.616.3076 or email fofadopt@nyc.rr.com to learn more about Elliot. He is the pup you are looking for. Elliot is up to date with his shots and neutered, ready for you to take him home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elliot, a Oakland Gardens Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Oakland Gardens, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Oakland Gardens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland Gardens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland Gardens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland Gardens paves the way for another one to be saved.
