Spot's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Spot's Story...
If you've been looking for a sensitive man then look no further, because Spot is your guy! This boy can sense when you have the blues or are feeling bad and will come lick your face until you feel better. He also loves to curl up and have you scratch his back. Spot is the quiet type, but he does speak up when his litter box needs cleaned or he is out of food or water. One of his favorite pastimes is chasing that little red light around and playing with his fake mouse! Spot is neutered and vaccinated.

He is about 10 years old and incredibly sweet. He loves people but also enjoys being on his own. He is accustomed to being a spoiled rotten indoor cat with a monthly grooming appointment! He'd prefer to be an only cat so he can continue being the center of your universe, but he's great with other cats too and doesn't even mind dogs.

Adoption process: all adoptions require an adoption contract. No hold is placed on an animal without a signed contract and a non-refundable adoption fee. Email waywardwhiskerscatrescue@hotmail.com to make an appointment to meet the animal you are interested in.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spot, a San Antonio Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
