My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AGB would like to find Barkley & I a permanent foster family who would be just that -- permanent. Someone that will provide love, wholesome food and a little exercise now and then. AGB would continue to take care of our medical needs. If you would like more information regarding permanent foster for us, please do not hesitate to contact AGB. Maybe you know someone who would consider being a permanent foster. We would just like to spend our "senior" years loving a new family, and each other. We know there is a dog lover out there who would take good care of us. Help us find the right family please! Hello, from a gorgeous Golden pair! I’m 12-year-old Barkley and my 11-year-old girl, Molly Mae, is here with me. We’re each about 60 pounds and were heartworm positive. We have gone through our heartworm treatment with flying colors. Barkley takes meds for low thyroid, but otherwise, we’re doing well. We even have our AKC papers to show that we’re truly Golden. Our previous owners were nice enough to bring them by, when they had to give us up. They just didn’t have the right place to keep us and couldn’t afford to bail us out of the shelter when we got picked up wandering the streets. Everybody here says I’m a loveable, Velcro boy, and my best bud is a sweetheart of a girl. It’s true she is my main “squeeze”, as I have been known to whine a bit when she wasn’t close enough to me, but I just like to look out for her, so all is good. There is only one thing that would be best for us, is a home without those smaller furry critters humans call "cats". I just think they are bigger squirrels ;-) We really love each other and share a special bond. I know we could share a special bond with the nice person who wants to adopt us. I just love to be close to you and get all the loving you have to give, meanwhile Mollie Mae is rolling over on her back for all the belly rubs you can stand! Just think of it as getting double the love as you’d get from one Golden! Please take a look at us and you’ll see what I mean!
