Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB March 22, 2012.
Charlie suddenly appeared one day at feeding time at a feral cat colony. Right from the start, the colony caretaker had the impression that Charlie had been dumped there. Half his tail was missing. He also appeared to be in some pain, and it was very evident that it was bothering him. The caretaker’s first instinct was to catch him and have it looked at as soon as possible.
After a few days, Charlie became friendlier and would come right up to the colony caretaker and rub up against his legs at feeding time. It was actually quite easy to pick him up and put him in a carrier! Over the next couple of weeks, his tail was addressed by a vet and has since mended.
The colony caretaker took Charlie into his home and noticed that, “Although he was very shy and nervous at first he became quite friendly and affectionate to both of us. I have no idea what happened to his tail; who knows how traumatic it must have been for him. There is no doubt in my mind that he will make a wonderful, affectionate and loving pet.”
