Buddy's Story...
Buddy is a fantastic dog... he is everything a dog should be. He is playful and loving and very affectionate. He is also very protective of his family - almost to a fault. He just loves his family... he has lived with two children that are both under 10 and adores them. He is very protective of his yard and will do what he thinks is necessary to protect it. Again, he is great with his family but needs to be put in a separate space when company comes over. Buddy is totally housetrained and very well behaved. He is not destructive at all and rarely barks. He is a goofy by and loves his treats! He also loves water. He goes to the river every weekend and loves his dips in river.

Buddy is used to going to doggie daycare at least once a week, so is very social and friendly with other dogs, but he is not so fond of cats... Once Buddy finds the right house he will be in heaven.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Rolling Hills Estates Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Rolling Hills Estates, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Rolling Hills Estates.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rolling Hills Estates already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rolling Hills Estates breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rolling Hills Estates paves the way for another one to be saved.
