Looking for a 'Big Love Bug?' Robert is that and more. This handsome boy came to us from a shelter where he had been picked up as a stray. He is 2 to 3 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. Robert has a soft shiny black coat that is great for petting and cuddling. He very much enjoys attention and wants to be with his people. Robert is now in a wonderful foster home with 2 canine buddies and is getting along great. All three dogs romp and play in the backyard so well and have lots of fun. Robert has been great with everyone who has met him. He particularly enjoyed the young man across the street who is about age 10. Robert does know some basic commands and is easy to work with because he is so anxious to please. Robert is a 'pleaser' says his foster mom. His foster mom also says, "Robert is so glad to see me when I get home that he barks a welcome to me and is just happy that someone is going to be around to pay attention to him. He was awesome when I gave him a bath and he even seemed to enjoy it. He has started 'nosing' me to get my attention even more - what a love bug." Robert is a great boy who is looking for his forever home. We are not sure about cats, but can cat test if necessary. Robert is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. He has also been kept on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative and he is house trained and crate trained.
