Bentley's Story...
Bentley is a 1 year old Yorkie (Possible mix but looks a lot like a yorkie to us) who has had a rough start to his short life. He was passed around from owner to owner and finally found his way to us at Thank Dog Rescue. Bentley is good with other dogs but prefers smaller pups over larger ones as he is a bit timid. He prefers a quieter home so we are thinking no young kids as he did not get the proper training as a pup and he thinks toes are toys. Bentley has improved on his house training but still has an accident here and there. He has come such a long way in his 3 weeks in rescue and we are so proud of him!!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a Newtown Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
