My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pearl is a 2 year old American Bulldog mix. She was originally adopted from FAPL. Pearl was surrendered because she played too rough with the older family dog. She has been around cats and shows interest but no aggression. She is protective of her food, and shows some food aggression with other dogs. Pearl would do best with a younger dog about her size and age. She loves to play, but can be rambunctious and is strong. Watch when opening doors because she will bolt if off leash. She is not recommended for a family with small dogs or young children. She loves to talk and is very friendly with a note of caution: Pearl startles easily. She's not happy in her cage and will sometimes growl. Once you take her out, she's as friendly as can be. Pearl is quite the gem...check her out.
