Meet Amara! This silly girl has had a hard life, but she is looking for her new start! She enjoys going for walks and taking hikes, but is also a huge snuggle bug at home.

Amara lost an eye due to blunt force trauma, but she doesn’t let it slow her down! She still has some insecurities about life, so she is looking for someone who is willing to continue her socialization and build her confidence. She is easily startled although with more socialization she is doing much better! Amara is asking that her new family not have any young children, as they can be scary, especially when you only have one eye. She lives with two other dogs in her foster home and does okay with more mellow dogs, but she doesn’t appreciate exuberant energy around her. She does resource guard around other dogs, but is perfectly ok with a human coming over and taking items from her. Come meet this pretty girl soon and let her amuse you with her antics!
