My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy Jane is a Boston mix that may have some whippet in her. She has long legs, and just looking at her pictures brings whippet to mind--and she loves to run! Lucy is 1-2 years old, weighs 27 lb. and loves to play.

Lucy is a sweet dog and follows her foster mom all the time. She loves to cuddle on the couch and ply with her foster Boston sister and brother. We think she would do well in a home with a fenced-in yard and perhaps older children. She would be fine as an only dog or a play buddy would be fine too. Lucy can be protective of her crate, although she really would prefer not to be in it. But she does sleep in her crate and is crate-trained. She is also potty-trained, leash-trained and rides well in the car..

Lucy Jane is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all her vaccines and is heartworm negative. She would make an excellent running partner for the athletically-inclined.
