Emmy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and declawed.

Emmy's Story...
Emmy is four years old, and is spayed and declawed. Her life has been turned upside down---after having lived with a husband and wife for her whole life, the man died, and his wife had to be put into an assisted living center. Emmy is currently living in a foster home, but Emmy isn't adjusting well to the foster's younger kids, and dog, and other indoor cats.
She is a really sweet cat, but needs to be in a quieter environment. She should do well in a home with older children or with a retired couple. She would probably do best in a home without dogs for sure, and maybe without other cats too. She likes to sit on laps and is very loving once she warms up to her environment. Emmy is beautiful inside and out and needs a home of her own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmy, a Warren Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warren, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
