Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is China I am a 5 year old special fawn pug. My foster mom says I am gorgeous and I think that as well.
Let me tell you something about myselfâ¦
I was very happy sharing a house with a great gentleman, but one day he wouldnât wake up to feed me or take me for a walk. I did not know what to do. Day became night and at this point I was in a panic. I had no idea what was happening, so I just lay down near my human and waited for him to wake up. He never did.
Other family members came to our home and said it was time for me to find a new great home. I wasnât so sure about this, but when I met the folks at Compassionate Pug Rescue, I knew I had something to look forward to.
I went to the vet where I was told that I had a urinary tract infection and worst of all, I was losing my sight. The vet took care of my fleas (thank Goodness!) and gave me a specialized diet (ugh) to take care of my urinary problems. I also was taken to the special eye doctor and well I tell you that was some of the better news! The vet gave me some eye drops and said that I will most likely have my eye site restored! Two days of those miracle drops and can see much better now. Boy, o’ Boy there are things out there that are great, squirrels and birds to chase (however my mom would not let me out of the enclosure to chase them, darn!). Well, as long as I get my eye drops, my eye sight will continue to improve and that ugly keratitis will not come back. Full vision may be in my future â yeah!
I am temporarily living with a very nice family. My foster Dad and Mom take me out for walks along with their adopted black Pug Mauser and a little five month old female puppy that likes to chase me around the house.
So far life is good, except that I am looking forward to having a forever home. I am fully housebroken. I do not bark – well there are some exceptions like the mailman! (I need to tell my parents that the mail is in or something like that). Iâve not been around cats, so I donât know about them yet. I get along with my other siblings (male and female Pug dogs), they are cool. I am past the age of chewing shoes or furniture.
I am a cool gorgeous female doggie that will give some lucky owner years of pleasure and companionship.
