Lady Copperfield's Story...
Lady C disappeared for 4 days when she first came to our home, hence her name, after the famous magician. We couldn't find her! We looked high and low, in all the known cat hidy-places, in vain... Then she made her appearance, jumped on the counter and talked to me for 10 minutes straight, until I sat and made a lap for her! Not shy, that young lady...
She has not been out of sight since, totally well adjusted to her new, temporary home. She gets along great with the other cats, and just wants nothing more out of life than your lap and your petting hands! Lady C has large, very expressive, green-golden eyes that are riveted on you... Her mackerel lite orange stripes swirl on her darker fur, making her quite the striking beauty.

We are showing Lady Copperfield and other cats and kittens at PetFood Express in San Leandro, 255 Davis St. every Saturday, from 1:00 to 4:00pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady Copperfield, a Alamo Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Alamo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Alamo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alamo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alamo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alamo paves the way for another one to be saved.
