Biography: Licorice is a silky, black bunny who was found stray with his mom and siblings in southern DE. Being the smallest of his brothers, Licorice is also the most quiet of the group. Truth be told, he was always a mommy's boy, preferring her company over his 3 brothers! He is very sweet and would do well with another bunny friend or two. Licorice would enjoy a calm household where he can feel safe and loved so that he can blossom into his full potential. Licorice really hopes that family will be yours!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Licorice, a Newport Other/Unknown was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Other/Unknown for sale in Newport, or seeking a Other/Unknown from a breeder in Newport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Other/Unknown breeders who help with Other/Unknown rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport paves the way for another one to be saved.
