Age: 2 Dogs: Yes Kids: Yes Cats: Unknown
Profile: Sophia came to live with her current dad from a friend of his. Daddy loves his girl but his job is moving him out of the country and Sophia needs a new home. They have only been together 6 months but the bond is strong and dad wants the best for Sophia. She is wonderful inside the home, fully housebroken and able to be home alone. She goes in and out of her crate on her own and has wonderful manners. She is good with all dogs and they frequent dog beach quite often. Dad is single but when they see kids out on walks they flock to say hi to Sophia and she greets them all with gentle kisses and licks.

Sophia is not at BRLA. She is in Long Beach and if you are interested in adopting her we can set up a meeting if you ask for her in advance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophia, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
