Schroeder's Story...
Schroeder is a 7-week old pup with one blue eye and one brown who is looking for a family to call his own. His momma and littermates were saved in KY at a high-kill shelter. Now the world is his oyster and all that is needed is someone to love for all the beautiful days to come. Schroeder plays all day with his canine brothers and there is nothing better than following his human foster siblings around!! Fill out an adoption application ASAP if you would like to receive his delicious puppy kisses and cuddles. This playful pup will not last long so send in your application today to start the process.

Wagging Hearts is a 100% foster-based, non-profit rescue organization. Our mission is to rescue abandoned, neglected, and stray companion animals. Please visit www.wagginghearts.org if you would like to adopt and provide a forever home to one in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Schroeder, a Hainesville Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
