Roonie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Roonie's Story...
Roonie is a beautiful, one year old female Shepherd mix. She's house trained, crate trained, and she rides beautifully in the car. She'd love to be your copilot - her favorite spot is beside the driver! Actually, she's a leaner! She loves to be smack dab beside you. Very sweet and affectionate, she adores people and plays well with other dogs. She enjoys chasing a ball or a stick and would benefit from a fenced in yard for safe outdoor play. Roonie is a smart girl who wants to please - highly trainable. Good with kids. Great in the bath too. Roonie is fostered in Madison, Alabama but transport is available to your area. For more information on Roonie, please email us at info@www.forrescue.net. You may also complete our application at www.FORrescue.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roonie, a PORTLAND Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in PORTLAND, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in PORTLAND.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in PORTLAND already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a PORTLAND breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in PORTLAND paves the way for another one to be saved.
