Dallas the Gentle Giant's Story...
***URGENT SHELTER DOG*** Dallas is a very mellow sweet Belgian Tervuren mix. He has been at the North Central Animal Shelter since August. He can best be described as a gentle giant. He is calm, mellow and doesn't pull on his leash. He loves to get attention and he will gently give kisses. He is great with other dogs. He has been at the shelter way too long and can't wait to find a home of his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dallas the Gentle Giant, a Los Angeles Belgian Tervuren/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Tervuren/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Belgian Tervuren/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Tervuren/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Belgian Tervuren/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
