My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Amma! We rescued Amma from the South L.A. Animal Shelter after she had been hiding in her cubby for nearly two full months. She captured the hearts of some volunteers who spent extra time coaxing Amma out of her kennel and out of her shell, as she was referred to as a "pancake" dog since she was so fearful at the shelter she would flatten herself out and try to disappear.

Now, Amma lives in a foster home with a pit mix foster brother whom she adores. Amma loves snuggling in her crate, squeaky toys, romping around the yard, and just being near her humans. Amma is still getting comfortable on leash and when introduced to new environments, but has not met a human or dog she does not love and takes treats very gently. Come meet Amma and fall madly in love.
