Jillian is a friendly and affectionate 13" Beagle. This adorable little lady weighs only 17 lbs. and her pearly white teeth would suggest she is a young adult. Jillian is current on vaccinations, already spayed, heartworm neg. (on preventative), and microchipped. She will probably need some guidance in the housetraining department, however she is crate trained which is a big help.
Jillian gets along with other small dogs, but seems a little too interested in cats. We're not sure yet what her opinion is of young children but her personality would suggest she would be OK. She likes to go for walks and is fairly well-behaved on a leash. Of course she loves to sniff
everything, with her nose to the ground--a typical Beagle!
Jillian would love nothing better than to snuggle with her special someone and is a perfect size to curl up on your lap.
Important: Jillian is not at a shelter where you can go to meet her. All Safe Hounds Beagles are cared for in a loving foster home. Prospective adopters MUST submit an adoption application and be pre-approved before meeting a dog. Submitting an application does not guarantee you will be approved. We are unable to accept applications for specific dogs and cannot guarantee the future availability of this or any dog listed. Once an application is approved, we’ll begin a matching process--the right dog for the right home. Please visit our web page:
www.safehounds.com to learn more about the adoption process and to download our adoption application.
If you are unable to adopt at this time, please consider helping us so that we can continue to help them. We have dogs with medical needs and many hungry Beagles to feed. We are always in need of dog food and other items from our
wish list as well as financial support to help us care for our dogs.
