Ralphie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Ralphie's Story...
Look at the squishy cute face on this lab mix fellow! His name is Ralphie and is a tiny bit over a year in age. Ralphie is housebroken and enjoys himself very much by playing with toys and a good game of fetch! Totally is an excellent buddy for someone who participates in outdoor activities like hiking, jogging or just walking - he is totally cool with that. Ralphie did get adopted into a home previously and it was not a match for him sadly enough as the other dog and him did not get along over food. He is a big guy - very Marmaduke like in looks (little goofy and leggy). For that reason, we believe his perfect match in a home would be with no dogs and no small children living there (even though he is a friendly guy to all he meets). If you are searching for a handsome boy, then look no further - here he is! Please complete an online application on Ralphie at www.henricohumane.org to get started. (no cats for Ralphie - he chases them)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralphie, a Richmond Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
