Hi there. My name is Dunkin! I am about 2 years old and I weigh about 45 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Hanoverton area. I ended up on a back country road. It was cold and I was very scared. I didn't know where to go or what to do, so I took up refuge at the end of someone's lane... I curled up next to their trash can. They found me there when they were leaving for work and called the pound to come get me.
When the guy from the pound showed up I was terrified at first, but he got out some food and after just a short while, I came right up to him. I was just a little bit frightened and quite hungry!
I am a very sweet boy here at the pound. I love people, though I can be a little timid at first. I do warm up fast. I just love people once I know they're nice!! I am great with other dogs and I love to play!!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MARCH 29, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
