Buddy's Story...
Have you seen a cuter face?!? Buddy is an 18 month old spaniel mix who weighs just under 20 lbs. He does well with other dogs and loves to chase tennis balls! Buddy is shy with new people, he'll give your hand a kiss but is hesitant about receiving attention until he knows and trusts you. He is looking for a family that will be patient and let him become a member of the family at his own pace. Buddy has been neutered, microchipped and is current on vaccines, his adoption fee is $250. If you'd like to meet Buddy please submit an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Henderson Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Henderson, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Henderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Henderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Henderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Henderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
