Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kitty, a beautiful young girl, only 1 1/2 years old. She is an American Bulldog Mix and is about 75 lbs. She was relinquished by her original owner after an aggressive person in the home was mistreating her. Despite all that she has been through, she still loves her human companions.
She is still young and still has a few "puppy" tendencies that were not corrected in her previous home, so we are working with her and are also offering 1 month free training with a trainer we work with after she is adopted and settled into her new home.
Kitty is house trained, crate trained, walks good on a leash (with someone who can handle her size). Kitty is spayed, and all vet care is up to date. She is heart worm negative.
She has been with the rescue for about a month now, and has adapted quickly to the dogs and cats in her foster home (she was never around them before.) She loves to play, and loves to walk or run. Looking for someone as active as she is to keep up with her energy. She loves her chew toys.
Kitty is very much a sweetheart and is gentle with kids, although we prefer older kids d/t her size and energy level.
Looking for someone with experience with the breed, or someone that is patient enough to see her through her training. She will be an excellent girl in this setting.
Screening process includes: review and approval of application, home visit, and a meet and greet. We are particular about where she will go as we do not want her to end up in the wrong hands.
