My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boston Cream and Fudgie (7 months old) are a bonded pair of stunning black smokes. Their downy, soft, medium-length fur is tipped in black with silver underneath. Boston Cream is the brains and leader of the pair, and is at present teaching Fudgie how to play fetch. They prefer the fuzzy mouse toys, but really any toy will do as long as it's one they can pick up and bring over to you. The sisters are highly affectionate -- they don't object to being picked up, but generally speaking they prefer to receive attention on their own terms, namely, that they like to stand next to you to be petted. Persistence is slowly winning them over when it comes to being held. If presented with a soft blanket, the pair will instantly start purring and kneading on it. The fluffy siblings love to explore and run about, and aside from fetch, one of their favorite games is playing Queen of the Hill on the cat tree. When it's time to eat, both Boston and Fudgie will let you know it as they send up a piteous chorus explaining that they are absolutely starving and it's been ages since they've last seen food. The sisters are each others shadows -- when you see one, the other is not far off, and at night they will curl up together. They will even curl up with their friend the dachshund, or use him as a pillow when they are bird watching. Boston Cream and Fudgie are shy at adoption events, but once settled in at a new home their playful, affectionate, curious selves will emerge.
